Jamie Wald, also known as Jamie JJG, is a native Los Angeles girl. She grew up in the heart of Beverly Hills. She is an entrepreneur with many attributes: a mother, wife, and a friend. By the age 21, she acquired her cosmetologist license and worked as a manicurist in Beverly Hills, there she developed her own nail studio. Then, at the age of 23, she was married and made the choice to put the working girl behind her to raise a family. She remained married for 26 years before they parted ways. She is now happily remarried to an incredible man. From her first marriage Jamie has two beautiful children, Amy Robin and Richard Jordan. As a mother Jamie was always very involved in community by way of community service and her involvement in non-profit organizations.
Jamie loves to have fun, she loves: music, art, photography, gemology, the theatre, as well as traveling. As a woman she never stopped developing her desire for girly passions. During the second half of Jamie’s life she experienced a rebirth, where she knew she wanted to cleanse herself and tap into her inner spirituality. She chose to lead a vegan and organic lifestyle with plenty of exercise and meditation to revitalize herself from the inside out. It was at this time where she rediscovered her inner and outer strength.
The motivation for LA Girl Secrets originated when Jamie received a visit from a dear friend who happened to be down and out in her mid forties with no job. That evening they brainstormed and LA Girl Secrets was born. At that moment, it was decided that LA Girl Secrets would be a resource for women to refer to when they want to ‘change it up’ in Los Angeles. Whether it is a yoga class, a spa appointment, an idea for your dream wedding or how to launch you in the social media domain, LA Girls Secrets will be a fun and positive way to connect and share resources with girls of all ages in Los Angeles.
